Skiving Knife - Endurance - JUNLIN

These knives serve as a symbol of perseverance and endurance as the name suggests.  Endurance does come with a price tag, both figuratively and literally. 

We are rather certain that these knives will exceed your expectations on how a skiving knife with a rudimentary form factor can perform. 

Full Body Taper

The thickness of the blade tapers from the bottom to the tip of the knife, effectively decreasing the thickness of the steel at the bevel. Two things:

• Reduce the effort required in sharpening these knives.
• This also moves the centre of gravity away from the bevel, allowing the knife to sit effortlessly on your palm. 

Mercury Chamfer

The edges around the body of the knives are hand ground and polished using a technique I developed, that was inspired by my observation of the spine on Japanese kitchen knives. It is quite difficult for me to describe what it is in words, you just have to take my words for it!
