SMOKED LUX is a beautiful vegetable tanned leather with a striking pull-up effect and a superb gloss as finish.

It’s a smooth, milled and glossy leather characterised by a pull up effect on the surface as a result of the final step of the tanning process, application with hot waxes.

This leather is fully dyed through with a gloss applied during the finishing process. You can see every detail of the skin which provides a beautiful vintage effect. The wax will be visible on the surface and can be polished into the hides.

The rugged effect looks amazing on for example bags, duffles, etc.

Smoked Lux can be used for any kind of leather goods such as portofolios, wallets, folders, belts, watch straps, shoes, bags, etc.

We will offer this leather in two thicknesses 1.4/1.6 MM and 2.2/2.4 MM - please reach out to us if you require a custom thickness !
