Amazing hot stuffed traditional harness leather from the US, Tanned in Pennsylvania by the world famous tannery Wickett & Craig.

Using methods that dare back over 150 years, these hides are hot stuffed with an exclusive blends of waxes, oils and tallows to bring out their inherent beauty.

The glossy/ glazed finish derives from a process called Jack Glazing. It’s an ancient traditional process, in which the leather surface gets “beaten” by a glass roll.
The result is a glossy surface, that doesn’t mask the natural grain.

The beading glass can leave fine hairline marks which after making up your desired product can be buffed back using a dry cloth and a neutral cream whilst rolling the grain surface over. 

The lightweight version, split down version of the Traditional Harness is perfect for smaller leathergoods.
Though in the heavier weight - W&C’s harness is ideal for equestrian goods, belts, dog leads and other heavier leathergoods
