Each box contains a variety of classic shell cordovan shades, spiced up with some of the not so classic styles if available.
You can expect 6-7 shell cordovan pieces at around 1 sqft each, with more the one stamp on every piece.
While we cannot guarantee to be able to fulfill specific wishes for colors, you are welcome to leave a note at checkout if you have a specific color in mind. If that is available in our piccolo selection we will make sure, that it ends up in your box
OBS: these are small shells - that can be oddly shaped but are around 0.9/1.0 Sqft in size - small, tiny imperfections can occur, though these won’t be affecting the overall Sqft volume of these limited boxes.

Shell Cordovan Leather is horse leather, which is exceptionally durable. Mores specifically from the horse butt.
The pores are so dense on the back of a horse that they are not visible to the naked eye.
The leather is naturally water resistant (even if it is not waterproof) and stretching.
Shell Cordovan is truly rare and unique material. It has bright luster, non-creasing grain character, great leather smell and ability to develop and keep these characteristics over time. Since the crease can lead to cracks in the skin, the tendency to ripple rather than bend helps to preserve the surface of the skin and the overall durability of shoes.
In addition, the shell Cordovan ages very well and develops over time a particularly beautiful patina.
The leather itself does not accept much dye, so the process of dying shell cordovan in all available colors is cumbersome and requires a lot of skill.
Rocado:
Shell Cordovan is the article par excellence produced on the horse, through a particular process (100% vegetable tanning), with very slow and scrupulous timing we are able to highlight a particular cartilage that only the horse has on its back. Only the timing, the dexterity and a lot of experience make the difference to make this product unique in its kind.
