The Manta Ray leather wallet pattern is a pdf downloadable leather crafting pattern to create a compact wallet that can fit 10-12 cards, cash and some coins. It is an advanced skill level wallet template made of three leather pieces that requires a very unusual crafting sequence explained with written instructions and some pictures in the download package. Skill level: Advanced
Leather:
> 1.2-1.4mm thickness (2.5-3 oz), medium to stiff temper -
> Pattern specific tools/materials: 3mm & 4mm hole punches for some of the tight to cut corners. A 7mm hole punch can be helpful in such two corners on the Exterior but those can be cut by hand so it is not a must have.
> Print pattern at 100% and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test. Measure and cut on outside edge of the lines.
> Please note that there will be more visual references with images than usual to simplify the Manta Ray assembly instructions. All pictures, the instructions refer to, can be found in your download zip folder. I strongly recommend reading through the instructions and reviewing the pictures before you commence with the build.
Note: stitching holes in the patterns are 3.5mm from the edge and spaced at 3.85mm, however illustrative in nature. You can use other spacing based on your pricking irons/stitching chisels.
